The Mass Care Coordination Division of the Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley) chapter of the American Red Cross with be conducting a six-hour Shelter Operations Simulation exercise for Saratoga CERT on Saturday, 22 June 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The exercise will be conducted in the main Joan Pisani Community Center room. The purpose of the exercise is to reinforce the training instruction that Saratoga CERT members received in the recent ARC Shelter Fundamentals class.
For Saratoga CERT members who have completed the advanced Shelter Supervisor/Manager curriculum, the exercise will afford those individuals the opportunity to employ the leadership and organizational skills and knowledge provided in the advanced ARC course of instruction.
